The room invitation is the bridge between making a plan and watching together. Zopley lets you share a link or a code; choose whichever your guests will find easiest to use.
1. Copy it from the room
Open the room's invitation menu and copy the current link or code. Use the value Zopley provides rather than typing a remembered address. Confirm the room name and selected video before sending it.
Open the intended room, compare its name with the invitation and copy its current link. Avoid copying an old room from your browser history.
Compare your connection with YouTube's sustained-speed recommendations. These are a reference for YouTube playback, not a measured requirement or performance guarantee for Zopley.

2. Give the link some context
Send the invitation alongside the title and start time. A bare link is easy to lose in a busy conversation. Ask guests to arrive a few minutes early so there is time to check access and audio.
Put the film title, date and host name immediately above the link. Guests should be able to recognize the invitation without opening every message.
If the source itself fails outside the room, try the checks in YouTube's playback troubleshooting guide. For a Zopley room problem, record the device, source and exact symptom before contacting support.
3. Use the code carefully
If someone is already on Zopley, the invitation code can help them find the room. Ask them to check every character if it fails. Copying and pasting is usually easier than reading a short code aloud over a call.
Copy the full code without spaces or punctuation added by a sentence. If a guest cannot enter, resend the link and confirm they are using the same room.
If video or sound does not begin after joining, MDN's guide to autoplay blocking explains why browsers may require a click or tap before audible playback. Try the player's play control, then check volume and audio output.
4. Check access when entry fails
A correct invitation does not override a closed room or a participant limit. Review the room's entry settings and your plan capacity. If you create a replacement room, send its new invitation clearly to the entire group.
Check room entry mode and capacity before asking someone to retry repeatedly. Record the error message if the current link still fails.
