Uploading is only one part of getting a video ready for a screening. Leave time for processing and a playback check, then invite your friends into a room with the right file selected.
1. Check the file and your account
Watch the export locally and confirm that it contains the intended picture and sound. Review the upload limits and active storage shown for your plan. Use a supported file rather than relying on its extension alone to guarantee playback.
Watch the file and check its size against current upload and storage limits. Give it a clear name and keep the original somewhere safe.
Compare your connection with YouTube's sustained-speed recommendations. These are a reference for YouTube playback, not a measured requirement or performance guarantee for Zopley.

2. Keep the upload open
Select the file in Zopley's upload area and wait while it transfers. Do not close the tab during the upload. A longer video or a slower connection can need more lead time than a short test clip.
Keep the upload page open until transfer finishes. Do not promise a start time based on transfer speed alone because processing follows upload.
If the source itself fails outside the room, try the checks in YouTube's playback troubleshooting guide. For a Zopley room problem, record the device, source and exact symptom before contacting support.
3. Wait for processing
After transfer, the video may still be preparing for playback. Check its status in your library and open it when it is ready. Test a section with sound and, for longer videos, a point near the end.
Wait until playback is ready, then test the opening and a later scene. If it still fails, keep guests informed before sending the screening invitation.
If video or sound does not begin after joining, MDN's guide to autoplay blocking explains why browsers may require a click or tap before audible playback. Try the player's play control, then check volume and audio output.
4. Assign it to the room
Select the intended video for the session and confirm the room name and entry settings. Share the invitation once the setup works. This leaves the arrival window for welcoming guests rather than waiting on the file.
Attach the checked video to the intended room and compare the room name. Pause at the opening and ask one guest to test entry.
